G3. Thank You.
I would like to just put out a quick little thank you to G3. They do make some pretty cool gear but there is one little item that i think takes the cake. It is by far one of the best tools i have used in a while. What is it you might ask. Well it is their little skin cutting tool that they shipped out this year with their skins.
The G3 Trim tool is just great. Not that it is hard to cut a pair of skins correctly but heck it has taken me longer to write this post than it took for me to cut my new skins. Again G3 thanks for such a simple yet great design.
More than meets the eye.
So the bad part about being addicted to outdoor gear is that after some time you tend to get bored with seeing the same thing over and over again. Well i just went to check my email and was completely suprised to find a press release from Loki for a new do everything jacket.

Needless to say I got a bit excited. I think the inventor Sett Anderson describes it far better than i can.
"This new affordable Loki Hoodie is designed for casual wear in cool or cold weather (with some layering). However, it is packed with features that can assist an individual caught off guard in cold weather."  -- Seth Anderson, inventor and founder.
Honestly what more could you want. This thing has it all especially for a jacket that will run for around $135.00. Hopefully i can get my hands on one of these to give it a try.
Check out all the Loki gear here.
I did it all for the Nookie.
So at last summers' Outdoor Retailer, one company that stood out to us, was Nookie wear out of the UK. They are a pretty cool paddling company and make some amazing gear. I am still drooling over their 3/4 guide short that is just sweet. Well i just noticed that they are having a clearance sale on a bunch of their gear. So if you are looking for some great gear and don't mind paying a little more for shipping, head over to the site and check out what they have. It's worth your time.
