Put the bottle down and back away slowly.
OK so I have to admit, I too am to blame for drinking bottle water. Really been trying hard to break the habit. At work I have only used my Nalgene (with BPA and I don't give a crap). But it looks like the group Tappening.com is taking things a step further. They have a wonderful group of great ads that should be placed all over to help people think about bottle water twice. Even though most are probably not true they are funny as hell and make you think.
Here are a few that i like.

Yep i cant ride a bike….
and so cant you. Well at least i feel that way after watching Matt Gilman ride trials. Not a bad rider. Way better than i am. Oh ya and he just happens to be blind.

Watch out your couch has BPA.
Oh and I dont care but with this new high end inflatable furniture from Blofield you can now take a fairly nice couch with you backpacking (ok maybe a little bit of a stretch) so you have something comfy to read your book on.

K2 Sunscreen
I'm admittedly not a sunscreen wearer. I probably should as one of my jobs puts me in direct sunlight all day. I've tried to combat the sun as best I can without sunscreen by wearing SPF rated clothing and always wearing hats. Even my helmet has a bill to keep the sun off my face.
Rafting and sunscreen just don't play nice together. The constant in and out of the water combined with sweat and grit causes sunscreen to wear off rather fast. This past Saturday was "Short shorts Saturday" (pictures are soon to follow). Needless to say, there was some bright white skin showing and sunscreen was going to be a must. I figured what better time to try out the new K2 sunscreen than now.
K2 offers two versions, one with SPF 30 and one with 50. They hooked us up with some of the 50 so that's what we went with. I applied the sunscreen about 30 minutes before getting on the water and made sure it went all the way up above the daisy dukes I was so fashionably sporting. Now it was time for the water.
I've never had sunscreen work quite like this before. One application in the morning and one more at lunch and I was ready to rock. I spent all day out in the sun with my beatiful white thighs out for the world to see and today, not a spot of sunburn. This stuff is the BEST. I've never had sunscreen work like this before. Here's some places to check it out:
Since I know you were wondering...they even have in the gallon size, just in case you were hoping to swim in it.
