This is the trailer to a kayaking film called Means of Production. Anyone that thinks they've seen big water should probably watch this. Somewhere in there, a flipped raft rights itself with a couple people still inside.  Who does that? I mean really?

To anyone that ever questions whether or not to wear an avalung...
If you still think it's unnecessary, why do you wear a beacon? It's simply a precaution. You shouldn't be in the situation in the first place but sometimes things happen. This is a great product and it's a rare day you'll see me without mine.

Though an entire town with a focus on bonking sounds like a terrible idea, Backcountry's newest site is pretty cool. Looks to be another deal site with an emphasis on Road Cycling. Neat.
I want more snow!
I just got back from the local hill. It hasn't snowed there in I don't know how long, and there's no storms in the forecast. What's the first pic I come across when I get home? This one:

Garmont comes out with new boots while Scarpa shakes in theirs
Garmont recently announced that they'll be jumping on the NTN bandwagon with 5 new boots. Turns out this was like Grant saying he talked to a 5 girls when really...it was only one (we'll give him the fact that talking to one NBA cheerleader is like talking to 5 normal girls). Garmont has though, come out with one new NTN boot, the Prophet. We're all anxiously awaiting the actual release of the new boot since Crispi's offering is unpredictable in flex and Scarpa's boots are about durable as a coffee table from Ikea.

So i reacently just got a new toy for the gear-addicts.com crew. Yes i am calling all 4 of us a crew. I got the POV 1 helmet cam and boy amd i so happy. I have had it out a couple of times and have to say that it is a blast. It is supper simple to use and has pretty good quality. Seeing that i have not dont much post work in a while i am a little rusty with some of the encoding tools and have yet to get a product i like. Even with that being said i still through together a quick little vid of our last little ski adventure. Nothing great a little side coutry with a finish on the resort. Hope you enjoy it and look forward to more to come.
