That’s It, That’s all
Even though I currently purely board I tend to enjoy ski flicks more then snowboard flicks. That's It, That's All was glowingly recommended to me by a friend out of Salt Lake.
The boarding isn't the only great thing about That's It, That's All; the cinematography, particularly in New Zealand, is stunning. Other riding locations include Valdez, BC, Munich, Tokyo, and Jackson Hole. The film is created by Brain Farms which was co-created by Travis Rice so - of course - much of the film is focused on him.
I'd download at least the 720p version from thatsit-thatsall.com. It took my awhile but I found a half decent trailer but here's an official HD release from Quicksilver. So if you can't be bothered to download the High Quality here yah go:
And One not so official (how'd that get there)
Currently the Blu-ray is cheeper then the regular dvd on Amazon.
Music from the generous folks at Redbull
Stumbled accross some FREE music this morning. I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet but give a listen. There's a few more bands you can download from on the left of the linked page as well. Enjoy
Yumeya
As if Shimano's XTR wasn't already expensive enough, they've now added a line of upgrades called Yumeya. Basically it takes your ugly XTR parts and makes them a combination of white and gold. Sick. Reminds me of the days when everything was anodized purple.
